Zik Saleeba
Zik is into computers. And computer networks.
Also computer programming, computer graphics, computer languages, computer
operating systems and computer hardware. I think you get the idea.
He also rides a motorbike, reads sf, enjoys films,
listens to music,
writes a little,
and also spends a lot of time hanging around with
his friends. He sometimes remembers his
family too.

Things I do:
Academically speaking:
- Ph.D(Computer Science)(Monash)
B.Sc.(Hons)(Monash).
- PhD project - "Reconfigurable computer architecture" - supervised by the brilliant Ron Pose
This project is a study of the use of dynamically reconfigurable logic (such as
that found in FPGAs) to create high-performance computers which have the
ability to adapt themselves to the task at hand. Various new architectures
are proposed, programming methodologies are examined and performance studies
are carried out.
- Major areas of academic interest:
- Virtual environments
- Computer architecture
- High-speed computer graphics
- Operating systems design
- Programming languages (generality)
- User interfaces
- Resume (short) or Curriculum vitae (long).
